The number of those affected by Alzheimer’s or another dementia is constantly growing and with it the need for your continued support. Today there are
more than 62,000 San Diegans suffering
from Alzheimer's or another form of dementia and
more than 150,000 who love and care for them.
If you feel passionately about supporting local, in-person support for families and helping to advance local research for a cure, we hope that you will walk with
Alzheimer's San Diego
this October, so that
100% of every dollar you raise will stay in San Diego to help San Diego.
Today, we are the only local organization in San Diego providing a broad range of free in-person programs and services targeted specifically to families affected by a dementia diagnosis and provided by master’s level social workers. We strongly believe that in the absence of a cure, the best treatment is good care and that will remain our driving force for the years ahead.
100% of every dollar raised stays in San Diego to help San Diego!
Your Local Alzheimer's Organization
Alzheimer’s San Diego
was formed in the wake of the former San Diego chapter separating from the national Alzheimer’s Association in 2015. Soon after, Alzheimer’s San Diego took over all local programs and partnerships, growing and expanding services to better help families in ways only a local organization with “boots on the ground” can do. We all live in the hope of a world without Alzheimer’s disease. But until that day comes, we look to you to help us ensure that San Diegans always have a trusted local organization to turn to.
